The double knee to chest stretch is a simple, highly effective therapeutic exercise performed in a supine (lying on the back) position. It is designed to create a gentle flexion in the lumbar spine, providing a deep, relieving stretch to the lower posterior chain.

How to Perform
1Lie flat on your back on a surface with your knees bent and feet flat on the floor.
2Slowly bring both knees up toward the chest with wrapping the hands around the shins.
3⏱ Hold 20sGently pull knees closer to the chest until feel a comfortable stretch in the lower back and hold position for the 20 seconds.
4Then lower the legs down one at a time to the starting position.
